WSU's Pathways to Academic Success Seminar (PASS) is a two-credit course (UCOLL 104) in which first-year students learn specific skills that apply in all of their classes, and how to be academically successful at college.
Students who have taken the PASS class are more likely to see their GPAs rise.
Students in PASS learn how to properly cite sources, be critical thinkers, and develop skills to be successful researchers.
